As the weather gets warmer, we're very excited to let you know about a wonderful way to welcome summer together with our community: an early summer cruise aboard the Lady Kate!
You asked, and we're very pleased to announce our first Hartford "All-Ivy" river cruise as our next event! On Friday, May 15th from 6:00-9:00 PM, start one of the first summery weekends of the season by enjoying a glass of wine and some BBQ fare while Lady Kate treats us to a scenic sunset as she sails the Lower CT River Valley!
Take a scenic trip down Route 9 (~30-40 minutes from downtown Hartford) to board Lady Kate at Eagle Landing State Park (14 Little Meadow Road, Haddam). Plenty of free parking is available on-site at Eagle Landing, and we'll start boarding at 5:45 PM for our 6 PM cruise! Plenty of summer BBQ-style food and other snacks will be included with the price of tickets, and drinks will be available from a cash bar. Lady Kate has lots of both inside and outside space to to enjoy the scenery, to sit down and have a bite, and to socialize in the same kind of way we do at all our events!
Tickets are just $39 per person, and space is limited! So mark your calendar for Friday, May 15th, and claim your tickets before they're gone!
There is no dress code for this event – simply come as you are after work on May 15th. You are welcome to bring guests, too! (Just remember to buy tickets for them.) Finally, for those who would like someone else to do the driving for this event, we're happy to help guests form small groups to share an Uber, Lyft, or other rideshare to or from Eagle Landing – simply send a reply to express interest.
