We have a terrific summer event to our north, and we hope you can be there!
Join us on Sunday, August 3 at 2:30 PM at Tanglewood for one of the highlights of the 2025 Tanglewood season: a rare appearance by four classical music legends—Emanuel Ax (piano), Leonidas Kavakos (violin), Antoine Tamestit (viola), and Yo-Yo Ma (cello)—coming together on one stage for a special, all-Beethoven concert.
This performance is a sequel to a 2023 Tanglewood concert for Kavakos, Ma, and Ax, who performed before a sold-out audience. Come enjoy a summer afternoon with the Yale Club of Hartford together with our friends from the Yale Club of the Berkshires on the lawn at Tanglewood as we all enjoy this encore!
🎻 Program highlights include:
Leonore Overture No. 3
Trio No. 4 in B-flat for piano, violin, and cello, Op. 11
Symphony No. 3, Eroica
Our Yale group will be enjoying the concert from the lawn at Tanglewood, and tickets are $43 per person to enjoy the concert from the lawn. To make our group easier to find, there will be a Yale flag on the lawn the day of the event, and we will also share phone contact details for a day-of point-of-contact with those who tell us they are coming. If you’d like to join, just buy your tickets from the Tanglewood website (remember to choose tickets on the lawn!), and then RSVP to let us know that you’ll be there!
So mark your calendars, bring a picnic, and enjoy an amazing concert at Tanglewood with our fellow Yalies! 🌅🎹
See you on August 3rd!
